Grande and Ricky Álvarez Spark Romance Again After Years Apart

Pop star Ariana Grande and professional dancer Ricky Álvarez, who initially started dating in 2015 during her Honeymoon Tour, are reportedly reigniting their romance. Following a brief separation in July 2016, recent sightings of the couple suggest a renewed connection.

The couple was spotted together in June 2026 at a group lunch at De Nada Cantina in Austin, Texas. This outing came just a day before Grande changed the lyrics to her 2018 hit “thank u, next” during a performance in Austin. While she typically followed the line “Wrote some song about Ricky” with “now I listen and laugh,” she instead remarked, “They still really slap.”

Adding to the speculation, at her July 13 concert, Grande sang, “We always find our way back,” hinting at her affection for Álvarez. The romance appeared to be further confirmed when Grande shared an Instagram post on July 27, featuring a clip of herself clinking olives with Álvarez, accompanied by the caption, “petal season continued …….. !” This soft launch came ahead of the release of her eighth album, titled Petal.
