In the first round of matches on August 15, India secured a 3-1 victory over Wales in Pool D, while Germany marked a strong start with a 5-1 win against Malaysia in Pool B. England triumphed over Pakistan with a 4-1 scoreline in Pool D, and Belgium narrowly defeated France 3-2 in Pool B.
The following day, August 16, Australia defeated Ireland 3-1 in Pool C, and Spain also won against South Africa with the same scoreline. The day’s fixtures included the Netherlands facing New Zealand at 7:30 p.m. and Argentina taking on Japan at 10:30 p.m., both scheduled for Pool A.
