Salma Hayek Becomes Grandmother as Stepson François Pinault Jr. Welcomes Baby Boy
Salma Hayek Pinault recently celebrated her new role as a grandmother following the arrival of her grandson. The actress announced that she and her husband, François-Henri Pinault, have welcomed their first grandchild— a baby boy born in July to François Jr. and his wife, Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck.
On August 16, Salma shared a heartwarming video of herself interacting with her grandson, where she captured a moment of laughter while speaking to him in Spanish. In her post, she expressed her joy, stating, “We are blessed to welcome the fourth living generation of Francois.” She affectionately revealed her intention to call him “Panchito,” a nickname that translates to “little Frank” and stems from the Latin name Pancho, traditionally associated with those named Francisco.
Enthusiastic about her new grandchild, Salma added, “I cannot love him more,” demonstrating her deep affection for the newest member of their family. This baby boy joins a blended family that includes Salma’s daughter, Valentina Pinault, 18, and her stepchildren, Mathilde Pinault, 25, and Augustin Evangelista, 19. François-Henri has these children from previous relationships, with ex-partners Dorothée Lepère and Linda Evangelista.
