Wladimir Klitschko, the ex-fiancé of actress Hayden Panettiere, has issued a heartfelt tribute following her tragic death on August 16 at the age of 36. Klitschko, who shares an 11-year-old daughter named Kaya with Panettiere, expressed his profound grief and shock in a recent Instagram post.
In the post dated August 18, Klitschko shared a photograph featuring Panettiere and Kaya, stating, “Our family is going through a time of profound shock and grief. The announcement of Hayden’s tragic death saddens me deeply. She left this world far too soon.” He acknowledged the significant role Panettiere played in his life, remarking, “Hayden was, although no longer my partner, an important part of my life and the mother of our daughter, Kaya.”
Klitschko reflected on Panettiere’s remarkable career, noting, “She built an incredible career through immense talent, while also facing the darker sides of a very demanding industry.” He assured that the memories of their time together would always be honored, stating, “Nothing will erase the times we shared or the place she had in our lives.”
Moreover, Klitschko made a promise to their daughter, saying, “To our daughter Kaya, I will always speak of her mother with respect and make sure she remembers the person she was.” He extended his condolences to Panettiere’s parents, friends, and fans who are mourning her loss, emphasizing, “Young and talented people like Hayden should not leave this world so soon.”
