Justin Chatwin Reflects on Hayden Panettiere’s Struggles Amid Career Success
In a candid interview with People on August 17, Justin Chatwin expressed concerns regarding Hayden Panettiere’s well-being during their recent encounter, contrasting it with their earlier interactions. Chatwin, who has been sober for 15 years, remarked, “I know this world of addiction, and Hollywood—it takes, and it takes from youth.” He shared his observations, stating, “I could tell she was struggling, and I was like, ‘I don’t think it’s this movie.’”
On August 18, Wladimir Klitschko, Panettiere’s former partner, paid tribute to her following her recent passing. He acknowledged the duality of her career, saying, “She built an incredible career through immense talent, while also facing the darker sides of a very demanding industry.” Klitschko emphasized the lasting impact of their shared experiences, stating, “Nothing will erase the times we shared or the place she had in our lives.”
Klitschko also made a commitment to honor Panettiere’s memory for the sake of their daughter, Kaya. “To our daughter Kaya, I will always speak of her mother with respect,” he affirmed, “and make sure she remembers the person she was.”
