Julianne Hough Congratulates Ex-Husband Brooks Laich on Marriage to Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir
Julianne Hough has extended her congratulations to her ex-husband, Brooks Laich, following his marriage to Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir. The couple exchanged vows on August 15 during a ceremony near Lake Coeur d’Alene in Idaho.
Hough, the host of Dancing With the Stars, expressed her happiness for the newlyweds in an Instagram comment beneath their announcement, which was made on August 18. “Congratulations!” she wrote. “So so happy for you both. Sending you all the love, health and happiness for the years to come to you and your beautiful family,” she added.
The significance of the location is notable, as Laich and Davíðsdóttir celebrated their wedding at the same lakeside venue where Hough and Laich had tied the knot in 2017. The couple, who welcomed their daughter Everly 10 months ago, had envisioned this setting for their special day from the very beginning.
Laich shared his thoughts with People in an interview published on the same day as their wedding announcement, stating, “We knew we wanted to get married here, just welcome everybody here. I was like, ‘We just want to be on an adventure. Whatever happens, happens. And if it doesn’t go according to perfect plan, that’s OK.’”
