Outer Banks to Conclude with Final Season Launching August 20
The popular Netflix series Outer Banks will wrap up with its fifth season premiering on August 20. The show has significantly boosted the careers of its stars, including Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, and Drew Starkey over its four seasons.
For those unfamiliar with the series, Outer Banks first premiered in April 2020 during the pandemic. Set in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the show follows a group of teenagers known as the Pogues—comprising John B Routledge (Chase Stokes), Sarah Cameron (Madelyn Cline), Kiara “Kie” Carrera (Madison Bailey), Jackson “JJ” Maybank (Rudy Pankow), Pope Heyward (Jonathan Daviss), and Cleo Anderson (Carlacia Grant). Together, they embark on quests for hidden treasures and historic artifacts while contending with the socioeconomic divides represented by the wealthy Kooks, including Rafe Cameron (Drew Starkey) and Topper Thornton (Austin North).
Throughout its run, the Pogues have undertaken thrilling adventures in pursuit of gold, a cross, and a crown, traveling to exciting locales such as Barbados and Croatia. Their journeys have been marked by both significant victories and heart-wrenching losses, including the tragic death of a key character.
