Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Relocating to the U.K. with Their Children
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to return to the United Kingdom later this month, along with their children, Prince Archie, aged 7, and Princess Lilibet, aged 5. This move occurs six years after the couple stepped back from their senior royal duties and relocated to California.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be settling in a non-royal residence in the U.K. for an extended period. Reports indicate that their children will begin attending school in the U.K. starting in September.
Despite the relocation, the Sussexes will maintain their residence in Montecito, California, and also hold a vacation property in Portugal. Currently, there are no changes to their roles within the royal family, and they are expected to continue with their personal business ventures.
This move enables Harry, 41, to engage more with his U.K.-based charities, including WellChild and Scotty’s Little Soldiers. Meanwhile, Meghan, 45, will continue managing her lifestyle brand, As Ever, from their new home in the U.K.
