Sons of Anarchy Cast Reunites for FX Spinoff Legends, Set for 2026
FX has announced the upcoming spinoff series titled Legends, featuring the reunion of the original cast from the beloved motorcycle drama Sons of Anarchy. This limited series is set to debut over a decade after the show’s conclusion in 2014.
Announced on August 19, the new series will bring back notable cast members including Katey Sagal (Gemma Taylor Morrow), Ron Perlman (Clay Morrow), Maggie Siff (Tara Knowles), Mark Boone Junior (Bobby Munson), Tommy Flanagan (Chibs), Kim Coates (Tig), Theo Rossi (Juice), and Charlie Hunnam reprising his role as Jax Teller.
In a unique twist, the actors will portray themselves in this action-laden follow-up, which is described as a concept developed by Hunnam. The show’s narrative intertwines television fiction with real-life fandom.
The network’s overview states, “When the cast of Sons of Anarchy reunites at a fan convention after more than a decade, the line between life and art blurs as the fractured brotherhood finds itself up against a real-world threat more dangerous than anything they ever faced in their show.”
