Sutter Supports New Meta Thriller Featuring Original Sons of Anarchy Cast

In a recent statement, Kurt Sutter revealed that a new meta thriller project will see the original cast of Sons of Anarchy, including his wife Katey Sagal, portraying fictionalized versions of themselves at a fan convention. The storyline is set to escalate into a series of perilous events reminiscent of the dramatic narratives experienced by their characters in the original series.

Sutter noted that Charlie Hunnam approached him during the pitch process to seek his blessing for the project, acknowledging that legal complexities might restrict the use of the original intellectual property. “I just want folks to know that Charlie came to me when he was in the process of pitching this to the network to ask for my blessing,” Sutter stated.

There are no lingering disputes between Sutter and Hunnam, or FX Networks executives, including chairman John Landgraf. Sutter emphasized his positive sentiments towards the project, expressing his full support: “I gave Charlie my full blessing. I wish nothing but the best for him in this project,” he asserted. “My wife is in the project. I have nothing but love for John Landgraf and the folks at FX who have been so good to me, so generous.” Sutter concluded with a spirited endorsement for viewers, saying, “So it has my full-blown ‘Watch this motherf–ker.'”
