GTA 6 Leaker Threatens to Release Complete Game Build
- A GTA 6 leaker has threatened to release a full playable build of the game if their cryptocurrency reaches $30 million.
- The leaker previously shared 25 minutes of gameplay footage and claimed the build would include the complete story.
- Rockstar has expressed distress over the leaks and is actively pursuing the identity of the leaker.
A leaker associated with GTA 6 has made a significant threat to release a fully playable version of the game, claiming it will be available from start to finish. This announcement was made on CyberLeek’s website shortly after the leaker uploaded 25 minutes of gameplay footage earlier this week.
Rockstar Games has previously described the leaks as “heartbreaking,” emphasizing that the current revelation is “obviously not how we intended for you to see the game after all this time.” Their parent company, Take-Two Interactive, is actively seeking the identity of the leaker and has attempted to subpoena Discord for pertinent information.
After a brief period of inactivity, CyberLeek resurfaced with new footage featuring controversial scenes, including the depiction of nudity. Eurogamer has reviewed the video, confirming its authenticity while noting that it is marked with CyberLeek’s emblem.
The leaker has stated that a full game build will be released if their cryptocurrency reaches a market capitalization of $30 million. They assert that the build will include the full story mode, playable to the end credits.
In a direct quote, the leaker stated, “Here’s the deal, nice and clean. CyberLeek hits 30 million market cap, the build goes out — full story mode, played to the end, credits and all. Don’t believe it has full story mode? Ask for what you want to see, and it gets provided. Take-Two gets one way out: physical disks and a public apology. They can take it at any moment. Or they can gamble that CL is bluffing. Everyone knows which one they’ll pick.”
Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for release on November 19, with availability on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
