Garena Free Fire Battle Royale Mobile Phenomenon Sets Official Anime Title and Spring 2027 Premiere

The massive mobile battle royale juggernaut *Garena Free Fire* is officially making the jump to television, with the official X/Twitter account revealing that the upcoming anime adaptation is titled Free Fire Daybreak and is slated for a worldwide broadcast and streaming release in spring 2027 alongside a striking new visual.

All-Star Creative Team Unveiled for Worldwide Global Broadcast

Co-produced by Kadokawa and game developer Garena with production management handled by Kadokawa Qingyu, the adaptation brings together top-tier talent. Ken Takahashi (*Ragna Crimson*, *Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya*) is directing the series at Japanese studio Candy Box (*Blue Archive The Animation*, *Azur Lane: Slow Ahead!*), with Sus4 Inc. (*Ragna Crimson*) stepping in to craft the music for the global phenomenon, which boasted 100 million daily active users as of early 2024.
