Rie Aruga’s Sheltering Eaves Manga to End with 8th Volume
Fans of emotional drama will want to take note: the seventh compiled book volume of Rie Aruga’s Sheltering Eaves (Koboreru Yoru ni) manga has officially revealed that the series will conclude with its upcoming eighth volume. Launched in Kodansha’s Kiss magazine in September 2022, the series follows the poignant journey of high schoolers Yoru and Tenjaku as they face aging out of the group home that sheltered them after a childhood trauma, while grappling with hidden feelings.
English Release and Creator’s Past Hit
Kodansha USA Publishing is releasing the manga in English, having recently put out the fourth volume. The series comes from creator Rie Aruga, whose previous major work, Perfect World, ran in Kiss magazine from 2015 to 2021, spanning 12 volumes, earning a Kodansha Manga Award nomination, and inspiring both a live-action film and television series adaptation.
