Exiled Merchant Series ‘Tsuihō Sareta Shōnin wa Kin no Chikara de Sekai wo Sukū’ Reveals TV Anime Character Visuals
The upcoming television anime adaptation of author Daken and illustrator Kasane Bench’s light novel series Tsuihō Sareta Shōnin wa Kin no Chikara de Sekai wo Sukū (Exiled merchant saves the world with the power of money) has officially unveiled its first character visuals. The newly released art showcases the protagonist Torao alongside members of the female adventurer party Garnet, giving fans their very first look at the main cast ahead of the series premiere.
From Fired Accountant to Ultimate Money-Wielding Hero
The story follows Torao, a merchant who is kicked out of the S-rank adventurer party “Blue Ring” after being caught funneling their strictly rationed funds to support the rival female adventurer party, Garnet. Tragically, the arrogant Blue Ring members are completely annihilated by the Demon King shortly after ignoring Torao’s final warnings. Left to his own devices, Torao joins forces with Garnet on an epic quest to defeat the Demon King, recover lost equipment, and literally throw money at every problem in their path. Meanwhile, a manga adaptation illustrated by Sen Higashiyama with composition by Masahiro Itosugi has already launched on Shufu to Seikatsu Sha’s Comic PASH! website.
