Arc System Works and SuperNiche have officially pulled back the curtain on Demons’ Night Fever, the wild new project from Disgaea creator Sōhei Niikawa, locking in an October 22 release date for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are live right now on Steam, with physical edition pre-orders for PS5 and Switch launching this Friday, backed by a brand-new trailer showcasing what players can expect from the chaotic experience.

Described as a “Raising Speedrunning Simulation RPG” where players grow stronger the more they die, the game follows Giga Super Death—the most wicked Devil of all—who gets transformed into a helpless baby just as he is about to kill God. To execute his “DEMONS’ NIGHT FEVER” resurrection program, he inadvertently binds himself to Killshiro Katanaka, a gloomy young man who despises the world. Featuring music by former Atelier series composer Tatsuya Yano, character designs by Yuji Himukai, and an original scenario by Roman Kitayama, this bizarre pact sets the stage for a story of pure evil when the title drops this fall.
