Madelyn Cline Reveals Police Visits Amid Filming in Madrid
During a recent appearance on the Therapuss podcast, actress Madelyn Cline shared an unusual incident that occurred while she was filming Day Drinker in Madrid. While working alongside notable co-stars Penélope Cruz and Johnny Depp, Cline’s apartment was frequently visited by local police, who mistakenly believed she was involved in a sex ring.
Reacting to the situation, Shane humorously suggested they thought she was a prostitute. Cline clarified, “They thought I was the leader,” referring to their assumption of her role in the supposed operation.
Shane expressed surprise, asking, “They thought you were a madam? How many girls were staying in your apartment?” Cline confirmed that she was the only person living there at the time. A conversation with Cruz later helped her understand the misunderstanding surrounding the police visits.
