Hailee Steinfeld Excited for Daughter to See Disney’s ‘Hexed’

Hailee Steinfeld is particularly eager for her daughter, Harper, to see her upcoming movie, Hexed. This marks Steinfeld’s first project since becoming a mother to her four-month-old daughter, whom she shares with husband Josh Allen.

At the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event on August 14, Steinfeld expressed her excitement about the film, emphasizing its significance as a mother-daughter story. “It feels amazing,” she stated. “The fact that this is a mother-daughter story is so special and it’s touched me so deeply, this story and this character of Billie.”

Steinfeld lends her voice to the character Billie Doe in the animated film, which centers on a teenage oddball and her Type A mother, who discovers that the girl’s peculiar traits are actually hidden magic. This revelation transports them to a world where magic is free to thrive.

“I’m just so excited for my baby girl to see this one day,” Steinfeld added, “and for the world to see this and embrace these characters and this story for everything that it is. It is pure magic.”
