Hayden Panettiere, the actress renowned for her roles in Nashville and Heroes, has died, as confirmed by her representative on August 16. Her spokesperson issued a heartfelt statement expressing profound sadness over her passing, stating, “It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her—and to the millions who watched her onscreen.”

Details surrounding the cause of her death have not been disclosed. Panettiere gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Claire Bennet on Heroes, which aired from 2006 to 2010. Following that, she captivated audiences as Juliette Barnes in Nashville, alongside Connie Britton. During her tenure on Nashville from 2012 to 2018, she received two Golden Globe nominations for her performance.

In recent discussions, Panettiere openly shared her struggles with alcohol use, opioid addiction, and postpartum depression during the filming of Nashville.
