Amy Slaton Set to Release Debut Single “Pounds Hollow”
Amy Slaton, known for her role on the TLC reality series 1,000-Lb Sisters, has announced the upcoming release of her first song titled “Pounds Hollow.” The country track has generated buzz, particularly after Slaton shared a teaser featuring AI technology in its creation.
Slaton, who is a mother to Gage Halterman, 5, and Glenn Halterman, 4, with her ex-husband Michael Halterman, provided insight into her creative journey while announcing the single. She expressed that the process of transforming her ideas into music, along with filming and editing, holds significant meaning for her. “From an idea in my head to the music, filming, editing, and finally watching everything come to life—this one means a whole lot to me,” she wrote in her Instagram post on August 18. “This whole experience has been something I’ll never forget. I’m learning as I go, trying new things, stepping outside my comfort zone, and showing my boys that you’re never too old to chase a dream or try something you’ve never done before.”
