Jamie Foxx Reflects on Life After Near-Fatal Brain Hemorrhage

Jamie Foxx has opened up about the profound impact of his near-fatal brain hemorrhage in 2023, which taught him the importance of fully embracing life. Reflecting on the experience, he shared, “A few years back, I went through something horrible. My daughter made sure I got back. Now, seeing that I have a new life and to have my daughters embrace it, that’s all that matters, you know.” He emphasized, “This is part of living—having a new life to live and share with is amazing.”

In addition to savoring his newfound perspective, Foxx is also cherishing quality time with his adult daughter, Corinne. The two are co-hosting “Beat Shazam,” which is set to celebrate its 100th episode on ABC on September 7 at 9 p.m. ET. Regarding this dynamic collaboration, Foxx expressed, “Just to be able to watch my daughter develop… Eight years is a growth to watch your daughter or your child grow into something special.”

The star of “Amazing Spider-Man 2” noted that this experience hasn’t felt like work. He remarked, “That’s part of your family. That’s what’s great. They say time sure flies when you’re having fun.”
