Manchester City Negotiating Transfer for Palmeiras Winger Allan Elias
Manchester City is in negotiations to acquire 22-year-old winger Allan Elias from Palmeiras, according to sources connected to ESPN. City is optimistic about finalizing the deal as they engage in ongoing talks with Tottenham Hotspur regarding a transfer for Brazilian forward Savinho, who is anticipated to move to North London.
Tottenham had previously attempted to secure Savinho last summer without success, but he now seems poised to join Spurs. Additionally, Tottenham is looking to finalize the signing of Omar Marmoush, who transferred to Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025.
Allan has emerged as a potential replacement for Savinho, positioning him as a significant target for City in what is shaping up to be an active end to their transfer window. In recent weeks, Rodri has completed a transfer to Barcelona, and Tijjani Reijnders has joined Saudi Arabian side Al Qadsiah. Furthermore, midfielder Nico González’s future remains uncertain, with Newcastle reportedly interested in acquiring him.
Sources also indicate that City is working to secure a deal for Lille’s Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi ahead of the transfer deadline, with negotiations reportedly at an advanced stage. However, an inquiry regarding Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton was rejected, as Palace has asserted that the England international will not depart Selhurst Park this summer.
