Two Point Museum Announces Rides & Relics DLC, Featuring Theme Park Inspiration

Two Point Studios has announced the Rides & Relics DLC for their game Two Point Museum, drawing inspiration from the classic Theme Park, the predecessor to Theme Hospital, which is also a spiritual successor to Bullfrog Productions’ original game. The DLC will allow players to create their own amusement park coasters.
Founders Mark Webley and Gary Carr of Two Point Studios have a history with Bullfrog Productions, having previously contributed to the development of Theme Park in 1994, creating a unique connection to their latest DLC.
Rides & Relics is the latest addition to the series of well-received DLC expansions for Two Point Museum, following previous releases that introduced elements like zoo animals and art appreciation. This new expansion focuses on theme parks and includes explorative gameplay through a new Gearbox Fairground map, from which players can discover blueprints and perks for more than 17 funfair-themed exhibits.
The exhibits will feature various interactive displays and vintage amusements such as a pirate ship, haunted house, ferris wheel, popcorn stand, candyfloss stall, teacup ride, and a cheese flume. Notably, players can also design their own mini-coasters, customizing factors like height and tilt with five different coaster themes available.
Besides thematic rides, Rides & Relics introduces a new museum location called Riquetti Gardens and includes a five-star campaign, merchandise for gift shops, and additional decorations themed around amusement parks. The expansion also features ten unlockable mascot outfits for museum staff to enhance visitor entertainment.
The Rides & Relics DLC will be available for £9.99 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC via Steam and Epic Games starting 8th October, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release scheduled for “coming soon.”
