English fans looking to collect the series can find the volumes via Yen Press, which follows the hilarious downward spiral of Gabriel White Tenma—a model angel sent down to Earth to guide humanity, only to completely derail into a hardcore video game addict.
From 2013 Debut to Anime Icon
Launching back in December 2013 inside Kadokawa’s Dengeki Daioh G, the gag manga transitioned to full monthly serialization in April 2014, with Kadokawa recently shipping its 16th compiled book volume. The beloved franchise also expanded beyond the page, spawning a hit anime adaptation that premiered in January 2017—which is currently available for fans to stream on Crunchyroll as the manga prepares to wrap up its iconic run.
