Chris Evans’ Return as Steve Rogers Highlighted by Tattoo Artist Kevin Lord
In a recent post, tattoo artist Kevin Lord shared a blurry image of himself, emphasizing his admiration for Chris Evans. Lord remarked on Evans’ impressive range as an actor, stating, “Obviously Chris is a brilliant actor who has done sooo much more than just Captain America,” and noted that anyone fortunate enough to see him on stage can attest to his talent. This post serves as a tribute in anticipation of Evans’ return in the upcoming film Avengers Doomsday.
Marvel fans are eagerly awaiting Evans’ reprisal of the iconic role of Steve Rogers in Avengers Doomsday, set for release on December 18. His return marks a notable moment following his last appearance in Avengers: Endgame. Additionally, Robert Downey Jr. is set to reprise his role as a fellow OG Avenger, this time portraying the villainous Doctor Doom.
Reflecting on his decision to return, Evans recounted a pivotal phone call with his team regarding Downey’s discussions with Marvel. “I was like, ‘Uh, oh. What does this mean?’” he shared with Entertainment Weekly at San Diego Comic-Con last month. After hearing the pitch from co-director Joe Russo, Evans felt an immediate sense of timing aligned, leading to his decision, stating, “It just all of a sudden, it was like, ‘This is it.’”
