Documentary Reveals Allegations of Financial Misconduct by Actor’s Brother
In a new documentary titled Funny Money, actor Dane Cook has revealed troubling allegations against his brother, Daryl McCauley, regarding excessive withdrawals of money. According to an unnamed source in the trailer, these withdrawals escalated dramatically over time, starting from $20,000 and eventually reaching $100,000.
Cook expressed unease about the situation, stating, “I was starting to feel something that I couldn’t really identify,” and questioning whether his brother was hiding cash in various locations. The documentary claims that McCauley pilfered “piles upon piles of cash” belonging to Cook, allegedly stashing the money in unusual spots throughout their home.
Among the bizarre hiding places mentioned, the trailer noted, “There were bricks of hundreds in all of the spaghetti sauce.” This revelation prompted Cook to reflect further on his brother’s actions, asking rhetorically, “Was the point to just bury me alive?” The documentary promises to delve deeper into these unsettling allegations of financial betrayal.
