On August 14, the 92-year-old singer took to Instagram to set the record straight, stating, “In spite of what you might have heard, I am not retired. – Frankie.”

Bobby Valli’s comments, made in a Facebook post on August 12, indicated that Frankie was preparing to retire, highlighting his age and illustrious career. “He has millions of fans who love him dearly. He is now 92 years old. In his illustrious career, he has sold over 100 million records, R&R Hall of Fame,” Bobby wrote, which has since been edited. He also expressed gratitude for the support received and noted that Frankie had reached a stage in his life where family was a priority.

Frankie’s declaration comes as a direct response to the speculation surrounding his health and future in the entertainment industry, affirming his ongoing commitment to his fans.
