Jason Kelce Proposes to Kylie in Unconventional Way During September 2023 Podcast

During a September 2023 episode of the New Heights podcast, NFL star Jason Kelce shared the story of his engagement to Kylie, revealing his lack of romantic instincts. The proposal took place while leaving Kylie’s parents’ house, demonstrating a unique approach to the moment.

Kelce explained that he struggled to find a discreet way to return inside the house after leaving, stating, “I couldn’t figure out how to inconspicuously go back into the house,” adding that asking to speak with Kylie’s father would have seemed odd.

Instead, Jason opted for a humorous excuse. He told Kylie, “I said, ‘Ky, I’m sorry but I gotta take a s–t.'” However, after only a few minutes, Kylie suspected something was amiss upon his return. “He came back out and I said, ‘Jason, I know you didn’t just go in there and take a s–t, it usually takes you 20 minutes,'” she recounted.

With the pretense dropped, Jason got to the heart of the matter. “This isn’t the most romantic way to do this,” he told her, prompting an emotional response from Kylie. “I immediately started crying because I knew what was happening only because he referenced being romantic,” she remembered.
