Nicola Coughlan’s Boyfriend Jake Dunn Joined Her While Filming The Magic Faraway Tree
Nicola Coughlan, known for her role in Bridgerton, shared that her boyfriend Jake Dunn was with her during the filming of her latest movie, The Magic Faraway Tree, which is set to be released in theaters on August 21. In an exclusive interview with E! News, Coughlan revealed, “He actually was in Malta the whole time I was filming, so I can’t complain.”
Coughlan, 39, described how Dunn came to Malta for a visit but decided to stay while on a filming break himself. “He’s like, ‘I think I’m gonna stay.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, stay!’” she recounted.
She noted that she was not the only cast member with loved ones around, as several members of the film’s cast and crew, including Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy, also had family and friends present. “There was lots of little kids there, husbands, wives, friends,” Coughlan said, adding, “It’s a very happy memory, that time. It was lovely.”
Since publicly announcing their relationship in 2025, Coughlan has maintained a degree of privacy surrounding her connection with Dunn, 26.
