Senran Kagura Franchise Returns With Shinobi Nexus Launching This Year
Marvelous and Honey∞Parade Games have officially announced Shinobi Nexus: Senran Kagura, a brand-new “hyper shinobi battle” smartphone and PC game slated to launch this year. Set for release on iOS, Android, and PC via DMM Games, the free-to-play title features character designs by Nan Yaegashi and is available for pre-registration now. Taking place three years after the events of Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link, the game introduces an entirely new cast of Shinobi girls attending a brand-new school.
A Fresh Era for the Hyper Shinobi Battle Series
The upcoming title follows the legacy of Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link, which originally launched in November 2017 and recently concluded its online service in May 2025 before transitioning to an offline version. Developed by the Marvelous subsidiary Honey∞Parade Games—established specifically to spearhead the Senran Kagura franchise—Shinobi Nexus marks the next major chapter for the series following its notable console crossover, Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars.
