Ghost in the Shell Anime Unveils New Cast Additions and Episode 4 End Card by Tetsuya Nishio
Bandai Namco Filmworks has officially rolled out major updates for Science SARU’s high-profile The Ghost in the Shell television anime, introducing two new voice cast members who made their debut in the series’ explosive fourth episode. Veteran voice actor Kenichi Ogata has joined the cybernetic thriller as Col. Tonoda, alongside Masashi Ebara stepping into the role of the president of Hanka Precision Instruments. Following the broadcast, the production team also dropped a stunning new end card for the fourth episode illustrated by acclaimed animator Tetsuya Nishio, known for his character design work on Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. Solid State Society 3D.
Global Cyber-Streaming Schedule and Creative Lineup
Directed by newcomer Mokochan at Science SARU with series scripts overseen by Toh Enjoe, the new adaptation has taken the global sci-fi community by storm. The series premiered on July 7 during Kansai TV and Fuji TV’s “Ka-Anival!!” programming block and is currently streaming simultaneously on Amazon Prime Video in over 240 countries and regions worldwide. Featuring character designs by Shūhei Handa, music direction by Taisei Iwasaki, an opening theme by King Gnu, and an ending theme by Millennium Parade featuring Saya Gray and Daniel Caesar, the ambitious reboot continues to expand its cyberpunk universe.
