Prohibited Items at America’s Got Talent Open Call Auditions
America’s Got Talent has established specific guidelines regarding items that contestants are not permitted to bring to open call auditions. Among these restrictions, acts involving open flames are explicitly prohibited, as the rules state that “fire and special rigging are not allowed at open call auditions.”
For contestants incorporating animals into their performances, fulfilling regulatory requirements is essential. They must complete an Animal Information Form and provide documentation of the animal’s vaccination records.
In addition to fire and animal-related restrictions, the audition rules outline a broader list of banned items. Contestants are prohibited from bringing coolers (unless required for medical reasons), fireworks, weapons, sharp tools, mace or pepper spray, illicit drugs, alcohol, and any props that necessitate fire or pyrotechnics.
