Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival has launched a new playable demo on Steam in anticipation of its full release on 8th October 2026. The demo coincides with the debut of a trailer named Scarlet Church, which showcases a cult aiming to create a “debauched paradise for mankind” within the universe of Clive Barker’s Hell.
The trailer, even in its censored version, is characterized by heavy themes including gore, sex, torture, and violence, accompanied by a notable amount of rubber, leading to a viewer discretion advised warning.
In the available demo, players navigate the convoluted Labyrinth and confront the Scarlet Church, which possesses the Genesis Configuration, a pivotal puzzle box within the narrative. This demo serves to introduce key characters and the fundamental mechanics of combat, crafting, and puzzle-solving; however, progress made during the demo will not transfer to the full game.
Hellraiser: Revival is currently available for pre-order at £35, with a Deluxe Edition priced at £45 that includes exclusive items: the Labyrinth Pistol Skin and Martyr Sawblade Skin, accessible at launch. There are also two Collector’s Editions available for pre-order, which feature a variety of exclusive licensed collectibles and will include all bonuses from the Deluxe Edition.
Originally announced a year ago, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival has seen developer diaries gradually reveal information about the game, culminating in the confirmation of its release date in June 2026. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
