God of War Laufey’s Collector Box Priced at £129.99, Game Not Included
- God of War Laufey’s Collector Box priced at £129.99, excludes the game.
- Includes a light-up Faye statue, a 51-card Oracle Deck, and a mini artbook.
- Available for pre-order, launching on February 16, 2027.
The God of War Laufey Collector Box will retail for £129.99 and will not include the game itself. This information comes from an official PlayStation Blog update.
The Collector Box is priced at $149.99 and €149.99, featuring several premium items: an eight-inch light-up statue of Faye along with Phranque and Rue battling Begtse’s soldiers, a 51-card Oracle Deck adorned with custom illustrations by Megan Lara, and a mini artbook showcasing concept art of characters, creatures, and environments curated by the art team at Santa Monica Studio.
The box will be made available in highly limited quantities through direct sales from PlayStation on February 16, 2027, coinciding with the launch of God of War Laufey for PlayStation 5. Pre-orders are currently open while supplies last.
This Collector Box follows a trend among gaming merchandise, as seen in the upcoming £349.99 GTA 6 Collector’s Box, which also does not include a game, and where Bungie has previously offered Destiny 2 collector’s editions without an expansion code.
Recently, Bruce Straley, director of The Last of Us, issued an apology to the God of War Laufey development team for expressing a lack of excitement about the game’s gameplay. Straley acknowledged in an interview that modern blockbusters often feel “boring,” but clarified that his earlier comments were taken out of context.
