Noor Ahmad to Miss CPL 2026 Season Following NOC Revocation

Noor Ahmad, the left-arm wristspinner from Afghanistan, will not participate in the 2026 season of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) with the St Lucia Kings. The decision follows the revocation of his no-objection certificate (NOC) by the Afghanistan Cricket Board, as confirmed in a statement by the franchise.

In Noor’s absence, the St Lucia Kings have announced that they will be replacing him with Tim Seifert, a New Zealand opening batter and wicketkeeper. Seifert is expected to join the squad as they prepare for the upcoming tournament.
