Bruce Willis Finds Love Again with Emma Heming
After his divorce from Demi Moore, Bruce Willis believed he wouldn’t find love again until he met Malta-born model Emma Heming in 2007 at a shared trainer’s gym. Reflecting on his past, Willis expressed in a 2009 interview with W magazine, “I spent the last 10 years single and, for the most part, unhappy… I never thought that being with someone else was the answer.” He noted, “I’m alone, but I’m not lonely,” although he realized he was fooling himself.
Following the start of their relationship, which features a 23-year age difference, Willis remarked that “on a day-to-day basis my life became much happier.” The couple married on March 21, 2009, during a beach ceremony at their home in Turks and Caicos, with Demi Moore and her then-husband Ashton Kutcher in attendance, alongside their daughters Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Moore and Kutcher ultimately divorced in 2011 after six years of marriage.
As they approach their 17th anniversary on December 29, 2024, Emma Heming has openly discussed the challenges presented by her husband’s health issues. Following Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia and later dementia, Emma co-founded the supplement company Make Time Wellness, focusing on brain health and prenatal wellness. She also launched the Make Time Podcast.
In a recent interview with E! News in 2023, Emma emphasized the importance of advocacy, stating, “It’s important to use our voices because through action, awareness and conversation, that creates change.”
In a heartfelt post, she shared her feelings about their relationship, saying, “I feel blessed to know it, and it’s because of him. I’d do it all over again and again in a heartbeat.”
