The chaotic world of high school student councils is officially making its grand debut this October! The production team behind Muchimaro’s hit four-panel manga Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru! (There is also a hole in the student organization!) has unleashed a brand-new character promotional video and visual, confirming that voice actor Hiyori Kōno will star as the eccentric Tan Otori.

Set to premiere this October, the upcoming anime adaptation brings together a powerhouse creative team at studio Passione. Naoyuki Tatsuwa is directing the series, alongside character designer Ryo Imamura and script supervisor Masahiro Yokotani. Based on Muchimaro’s award-winning manga—which first launched in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2022 and claimed a win at the ninth Next Manga Awards—the story follows reluctant student council newcomer Mizunoe Ume as he navigates a chaotic school year alongside an irresistibly quirky, weird, and charmingly eccentric crew.
