Star Detective Precure! The Movie Unveils Main Trailer, Theme Songs, and September 18 Release Date
The magical girl mystery is heading to the big screen! The staff for Eiga Meitantei Precure! Fushigi na Niwa to Futari no Himitsu (Star Detective Precure! The Movie: The Mysterious Garden and the Secret of 2 People) has officially dropped the main trailer, revealing that the 23rd main film in the iconic Precure franchise will open in Japan on September 18. The newly released preview gives fans a first listen to the ending theme song “FIRST PRISM” by Yūka Masui and Chihaya Yoshitake, alongside the insert song “First Step” by Ami Ishii. Additionally, official “Dance Lesson” videos for both tracks have launched online to get fans ready for the theatrical release.
Detective Precure Enter “Karin’s Garden” to Uncover a Hidden Mystery Alongside Legacy Characters
The film follows the Detective Precure team as they investigate the mysterious “X Mark Incident,” which takes a strange turn when a fairy named Rain appears to request their help. Guiding the team to a stunning location known as “Karin’s Garden,” Rain reveals that the sanctuary is currently being overrun by tiny, disruptive creatures called “Dame Dame.” As the heroes investigate these mischievous entities, they will unearth a deeply guarded secret hidden within the garden. To make the cinematic event even bigger, past characters from both You and Idol Precure♪ and Wonderful Precure! will make special appearances. The film is being directed by Hanako Ueda with a script by Yoshimi Narita, featuring character designs and chief animation direction by Emiko Miyamoto.
