Xbox Game Pass September Releases Featuring Major Titles
- New titles include Gears of War: E-Day, Dune Awakening, and Minecraft Dungeons 2.

The second wave of games for Xbox Game Pass in September has been announced, enhancing the current lineup. Notable titles include Gears of War: E-Day, which serves as a prologue to the original Gears of War story, where players follow Marcus Fenix and his allies during the Locust invasion, culminating in what is known as Emergence Day.
Dune Awakening will make its console debut and is significant as it introduces a single-player mode to what originated as a multiplayer survival MMO on PC. The game has evolved since its initial release last summer to attract a wider audience, coinciding with the upcoming third Dune movie in December.
Minecraft Dungeons 2’s details remain scarce, but its announcement earlier this year surprised many. It raises questions about how the sequel will expand on the Diablo-like gameplay of the original to fulfill its potential more effectively.
In addition to these major releases, Game Pass Premium will introduce co-op brawler Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Planet of Lana 2, Ninja Gaiden 4, and the game Keeper.
On September 30th, several titles will depart from Xbox Game Pass, including martial arts roguelike Sifu, Atomfall, a Fallout-adjacent title by Rebellion, and the co-op horror game Little Nightmares 2.
