England Opts to Field First After Winning Toss Against Pakistan

On a slightly overcast day at Headingley, England captain Joe Root won the toss and elected to field first against Pakistan. Root’s decision was influenced by the overhead conditions and “a bit of top moisture” in the pitch that the England team aims to exploit.
