Live-Action Wandance Film Drops Full Trailer, Teaser Visual, and &TEAM Theme Song!
The official website for the live-action film adaptation of Coffee’s hit Wandance manga has officially dropped its full trailer and teaser visual, giving fans an electrifying first look at the hip-hop coming-of-age story. Set to hit theaters in Japan on November 27, the upcoming feature stars &TEAM boy band member JO as protagonist Kaboku Kotani and Anji Ikehata as Hikari Wanda. The newly released trailer also previews the film’s infectious theme song, “For us,” performed by &TEAM.

Based on the manga published in English by Kodansha USA Publishing, Wandance follows Kaboku, a high schooler who has always gone with the flow to meet the expectations of those around him. That predictable routine shatters the night he discovers Hikari Wanda—a passionate member of the school’s hip-hop dance club—turning a blank concrete space into an explosive canvas of movement. Directed by Naoya Kusaba with a script by Keiichi Kobayashi and dance supervision by Charisma Kantarō, the live-action adaptation brings the manga’s thrilling dance scenes and dynamic cast—including Kira Yamaguchi, RAN Mazzel, TSUKKI, and Aloha Takamatsu—to life following the franchise’s recent October 2025 television anime debut.
