SiTime, based in Silicon Valley and known for its micro-electromechanical system-based timing products, enjoyed an almost 10% uptick following Morgan Stanley’s initiation of research coverage with an overweight rating and a target price of $730, suggesting a 33% potential increase from Wednesday’s closing price.

In the semiconductor sector, Tower Semiconductor, an Israeli manufacturer, rose close to 9% after entering into an agreement with New Photonics for high-volume shipments of laser-integrated optical engines. This move aims to support the increasing need for high-bandwidth, energy-efficient optical interconnects in artificial intelligence infrastructure.

Conversely, Fluence Energy, a battery storage firm, saw its shares tumble by 14% after it revised its full-year guidance. The company now forecasts $2.4 billion in revenue for 2026, a drop from previous estimates of between $2.9 billion and $3.1 billion. Fluence also predicts a loss of $200 million before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization, a significant increase from its prior guidance range of a $30 million loss to a $10 million EBITDA.

Vital Farms, known for its pasture-raised egg and butter products and based in Austin, Texas, rose 9% following Axios’s report that the company is exploring various strategic alternatives, including the possibility of privatization.

Generac, a manufacturer of backup power generators, experienced a remarkable 19% surge after announcing a deal with Amazon to provide generators for its data centers, expecting initial shipments to total $2.4 billion between 2027 and 2028. Additionally, Generac granted Amazon the option to purchase up to $340 million in stock. Amazon’s shares also saw a lift, increasing by 1.3%.

Arm Holdings, whose CEO Rene Haas spoke with CNBC’s Jim Cramer, is reportedly gaining confidence in meeting demand for its new data center chip, resulting in a 9% rise in its stock value.

Vicor, a company specializing in modular power components, experienced a 15% increase. The Massachusetts-based firm has granted a non-exclusive license to an AI original equipment manufacturer for its Vertical Power Delivery modules.
