The gameplay trailer, available for viewing below, adheres to the established format of previous Street Fighter 6 (SF6) trailers, detailing Arjun’s normal and special moves before showcasing his intricate combos and super moves. In addition to his combat abilities, Arjun features stylish poses in his level three super art, which draws inspiration from Bollywood choreography. His character bio, available on the Street Fighter 6 website, highlights Bollywood and fossil hunting as his interests, while expressing an aversion to undercooked Biryani.

Arjun’s introduction follows the recent addition of Yasmine, another new character in the Street Fighter series. Notably, upcoming additions include Tifa from Final Fantasy 7, expected to join the roster in early 2027, and Bosch, a previously deceased character from the SF6 story mode, who will complete the fourth seasonal character pass in Spring.

Overall, Street Fighter 6 continues to thrive for Capcom, with recent financial reports indicating record sales for the franchise. Other new releases, including Resident Evil: Requiem and Pragmata, have also surpassed expectations. With this success, Capcom is exploring its back catalog of dormant game franchises.
