Zombie Underdog Action Game ‘Stupid Never Dies’ From Capcom Vet Hits PlayStation 5 and Steam This October
Osaka-based developer GPTrack50 has officially announced that its upcoming action game Stupid Never Dies will launch for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on October 21 (with an October 22 release in select regions), with distribution handled by Sega. Founded by former Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi—renowned for his work on Resident Evil, Dino Crisis, Devil May Cry, and Sengoku Basara—the studio dropped the release date alongside a brand-new trailer, a look at the “TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack” DLC, and official music videos for the opening theme “Stupid Never Dies” by DAVY & JULIA and the ending theme “Restless, Reckless, Never Die, Fearless” by DAVY.
An Underdog Zombie’s Quest for Love in a Post-Apocalyptic Dungeon
The game follows Davy, a timid zombie protagonist living in a ruined world where monsters roam the streets and his beloved Julia has frozen to death. Driven by the singular dream of reviving Julia and taking her on a date, Davy plunges into a dangerous otherworldly dungeon. Despite facing overwhelmingly powerful enemies that leave him battered, he relies on the support of eccentric companions to keep pushing forward in this underdog adventure of the weakest zombie rising against all odds.
